Mozart Requiem
Inspired by the success of 'An Easter Celebration', Mozart's Requiem in D minor was performed (in part) with the Grahamstown Cathedral Consort Choir for the service in commemoration of the Faithful Departed at the Cathedral Church of St. Michael and St. George. This was followed by a performance of the full Requiem on the anniversary of the composer's death on 05 December 2022.
Accompanied by John Jackson, sections of Mozart's Requiem in D minor were sung by Saeculum Aureum in conjunction with the Grahamstown Cathedral Consort Choir at the Cathedral Church of St. Michael and St George's service for the commemoration of the Faithful Departed on 06 November 2022. Being an Anglican service, some sections of the full setting were excluded.
The full setting of Mozart's Requiem was performed in concert a month later, on 05 December 2022, the 231st anniversary of Mozart's Death.
